President Obama will go to a lot of new media places to sell his health care plan.

Obama appeared Tuesday on a taped edition of "Between Two Ferns," a parody talk show on the "Funny Or Die" website hosted by comedian/actor Zach Galifianakis.

"I have to say, when I heard that people actually watch this show, I was actually pretty surprised," Obama told his host.

The president used the appearance to encourage the show's main demographic -- young people -- to sign up for health insurance before a key deadline on March 31.

Obama also traded barbs with his host Galifianakis, who at one point asked: "I have to know -- what is it like to be the last black president?"

Replied Obama: "Seriously? What's it like for this to be the last time you ever talk to a president?"

Galifianakis mocked Obama on a variety of fronts, asking did he "send ambassador (Dennis) Rodman to North Korea?" and wondering if he would put his presidential library in Kenya.

The comedian also cited the early failures of the health care website.

"HealthCare.gov works great now," Obama said.

As Obama talked about the virtues of his health care plan, Galifianakis said, "Is this what they mean by drones?"

Obama gave as good as he got, responding that he doesn't think any president should be able to seek a third term, comparing the idea to Galifianakis' three best-known movies, The Hangover trilogy.

Running for a third term "would be sort of like doing a third Hangover movie," Obama told Galifianakis. "It didn't really work out very well, did it?"
