(KSDK) -- The publicist for Blues guitarsit B.B. King says contrary to earlier published reports, no public apology was ever issued by the Blues legend or any member of the his staff. An earlier Associated Press report stated that the 88-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer issued an apology on for what his publicists called "a bad night for one of America's living blues legends."
The alleged "apology" came after a recent performance in St. Louis that fans described as "erratic."
But, on Tuesday NewsChannel 5 reached out to B.B. King's publicist, Laverne Toney, who denied issuing such a statement.
