KSDK – An estimated one in 68 children in the U.S. have been diagnosed with some form of autism.

But early intervention can help nearly half of the children living with autism reach their full potential.

That's where the program being offered by Easter Seals Midwest comes in. The $5,500 parent training program is being offered free of charge and is available for any family struggling with an autism diagnosis. It's an intense, two-week course.

Melanie Mills is the director of Autism Services for Easter Seals Midwest.
