ST. LOUIS – He was part of Team Ceelo, and now he's teaming up to help St. Louis kids.

Nicholas David, a former finalist on NBC's "The Voice" took The Pageant stage to raise money for Variety the Children's Charity. The money raised helps kids with disabilities.

David says he's been using his fame to give back to children around the world.

"Worked with children in third world countries, children in my own back yard, children across the country, again using music as a vehicle for positive change in this world," he said.

David became a fan favorite on the third season of "The Voice." The St. Paul, Minn. native made it all the way to the final episode before finishing in third place.

"The Voice" airs Mondays at Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on NewsChannel 5.
