CHICAGO (WGN) – Chicago has unveiled its latest, over the top tourist attraction.
Actually, it's probably more over the edge…of the John Hancock building…literally.
It's called "Tilt" and the attraction put some inaugural riders' nerves on edge too. You could see why.
It's a glass enclosure a thousand feet up in the air – on the 94th floor of the building. Tilt pushes riders out at 30-degree angle away from the building for an unobstructed view of the city and Lake Michigan below.
It opened on Thursday for city leaders, and only lasted for 30 seconds. When the multi-million dollar attraction opens to tourists this weekend, $5 gets you a ride that lasts for more than a minute.
