CANNES, France — The glam-reaping is here.
Once again, the Hunger Games cast made what is turning into an annual trip to the Cannes Film Festival to promote their upcoming film.
Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Sam Claflin (Finnick), Donald Sutherland (President Snow) joined new cast member Julianne Moore (President Coin) in the South of France to talk up The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which opens Nov. 21.
The cast and director Francis Lawrence jetted into town for a photocall before heading off to a lavish party at a French villa. It was the kind of party that would have even wowed President Snow, with extravagant citizens of the Capitol serving trays of fine French food and seemingly endless glasses of champagne.
The whole concept left Moore, who jetted in for the quick trip, slightly baffled but enjoying herself. The movie has finished shooting in Atlanta, but cast members are still working inParis before heading off to Berlin to complete the film.
"We're not even finished with the movie and yet here we are celebrating," Moore told USA TODAY. "I love this experience."
Moore, back to her normal red hair after showing her greyHunger Games look last week, joined other cast members, who stayed late into the evening. Jennifer Lawrence even busted a dance move during their lengthy hang-out session.
