ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Bluesweek, a two-day festival featuring live music and lots of barbecue, is wrapping up this weekend in Chesterfield.

This marks the festival's first year in west county – a departure from its previous location at Soldier's Memorial in downtown St. Louis. The change in venue is getting mixed reviews.

"The blues were born in St. Louis proper," attendee James Williams said. "Laclede's Landing, Big Muddy Blues Festival, not Chesterfield. I don't know what happened."

"I like the wide open feel of it," attendee Jackie Leonard said. "People sitting around, it's great, I like it."

Festival goers also said they liked the ample free parking and shuttle service.
