ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – There was a huge celebration of freedom and diversity in north city on Saturday…and it was for a holiday you might not even recognize.

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S.

Dozens came out to Fountain Park – which is near the Central West End – to enjoy live music, food and even a car and bike show.

The fun continues on Sunday with a special Father's Day tribute starting at 10:30 a.m.
