ST. PETERS, Mo. (KSDK) – Saturday's heat didn't stop Habitat for Humanity volunteers from rolling up their sleeves and getting to work.

Volunteers from Church on the Rock and the Wentzville General Motors plant helped build a couple of homes in the Enclaves subdivision.

Peggy Cole and her daughter will live in one of them.

She has helped build other homes.

She says building her own home will help her in the future.

Cole also says she's grateful to all of the volunteers who are helping build her new home.
