St. Louis (KSDK) -- A St. Louis native who works for the MLB Network predicts the Cardinals will beat the Texas Rangers in seven game to win the World Series and it could go down as one of the best Fall Classics.

Greg Amsinger said the 2011 season for the Cardinals could be made into a movie. At the beginning of the season, Albert Pujols had to deal with the press about his contract and then the team wrapped up with an incredible run coming back from 10.5 games down in August to clinch a Wild Card spot.

The Cardinals went on to beat the Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers, both of which were favored to win.

The team also lost one of their best starters Adam Wainwright before the seaon began and the bullpen had been the team's achilles heel.

The team overcame both of those issues. The the bullpen has been one of the strengths of the Cardinals, according to Amsinger.

Amsinger said thekey for the Cardinals and the Texas Rangers will be the first four innings of each game to see which team can do the most damage before the bullpen is called into the game to help.

At the end of the season, Pujols will become a free agent. Amsinger said Pujols is a good guy and he just wants what he is worth and points out that he has taken the "hometown discount" before.

Amsinger calls Pujols the greatest player for the last 11 years and he hopes he stays a Cardinal, but if he leaves, the team is built to win without him.
