Myrtle Beach, SC (WMBF) -- A woman was shot near a South Carolina Walmart and police believe it was Black Friday related.

Police said the shooting happened during a robbery, in a parking lot across the street from the store.

"We heard some gunshots. What sounded like gunshots at least. At first we thought they were firecrackers until we saw people running. Then we came over and we saw some guys laying on the ground," said a witness.

Police said two men pulled a gun on a group of people and tried to rob them. A man was hit in the head and a shot was fired. The bullet hit a 55-year-old woman in the leg.

Police are searching for the shooters.
