Elsberry, MO (KSDK) - A 33-year-old Elsberry, Missouri man was arrested for multiple arson fires.
Roy William Gunn was arrested Thursday and charged with several counts of arson, burglary, and knowingly burning.
The Buraeau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Missouri Division of Fire Safety's Office of the State Fire Marshal, and the Lincoln County Arson Task Force have been investigating the Elsberry arsons that started on July 19, 2011.
Gunn has been linked to the following seven arsons:
July 19, 2011 - vacant residence in the 300 block of S. Third Street
July 24, 2011 - vacant residence in the 300 block of S. Fourth Street
August 30, 2011 - vacant residence in the 300 block of S. Third Street
August 31, 2011 - vacant business formerly known as Stu's Countryside Quick Shop in the 900 block of Highway B
September 10, 2011 - unoccupied business in the 300 block of S. Main Street
October 30, 2011 - natural cover fire at property in the 2800 block of N. Highway 79, just south of Elsberry
February 14, 2012 - vacant residence in the 300 block of S. Third Street
