St. Louis (KSDK) - Four south St. Louis County brothers look like typical boys, but the Murry brothers have dealt with more obstacles in their young lives than most of us will ever have to.

The Murrys were born with a rare blood disorder.

Sean and Patrick now need a bone marrow transplant to treat their disease.

Joyce Jones is Donor Recruitment Coordinator for the Bone Marrow Donor Center, and during the interview she registered and tested several NewsChannel 5 employees with just a swab.

There is a bone marrow drive is this Sunday, April 1 in Des Peres at the St. Clement School from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Metropolitan Square Building in downtown St. Louis is also holding a bone marrow swabbing drive for the Murry brothers on Thursday, April 5th from 9 a.m.until 1 p.m. For more information please contact Christina at 314-436-1212 or Joyce Jones at joyce@dkmsamericas.org.
