St. Louis (KSDK) - Work to cleanup asbestos in downtown St. Louis is nearing completion.

Crews are spending the weekend cleaning off streets and buildings around 11th and Lucas, where a steam pipe ruptured Thursday morning.

The St. Louis Health Department says air tests have come back clean, but asbestos has been discovered in the immediate vacinity.

All work is expected to be finished by Monday morning.
