Breese, IL (KSDK) - This weekend marks one year since a 75-year-old Breese man went missing. So his community marked the occasion with a vigil.

Flyers and signs are still posted around Breese as police hope for more clues into the case. And today, friends and family members of Vincent Wesselmann gathered outside the St. Augustine Church in town for a service in his honor.

Wesselmann went missing on Good Friday of last year after he went for a walk alone. His car was left at home, along with the clothes he laid out for church. No one has seen or heard from him since that day.

A $5,000 reward is being offered in the case. Anyone with information should call the Breese Police Department.
