Payson, AZ (KTVK/CNN) - A bear ripped into a tent in the middle of the night and clawed a 74-year-old woman in the head.

She's expected to be okay.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department says the bear got into the tent at the Tonto National Forest at about 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

Officials say the bear even tried to come back later, when medical crews were on the scene.

So, they closed down the campground and warned campers at other sites nearby.

"It concerns me because he could be anywhere," said one camper.

"My husband and I were thinking about sleeping in the tent but we're probably just gonna sleep in the Suburban," said Nina Mares.

Officials say the bear was probably after food.

The woman's husband and dog were also in the tent.

They were not hurt.
