Alton, IL (KSDK) - Two years ago Monday, a local grandmother vanished and her family still doesn't know what happened to her.

Tuesday night family and friends released balloons to honor Bonnie Woodward.

She was last seen in the parking lot of the Eunice Smith Nursing Home in Upper Alton.

Her pickup truck was left in the lot with its windows down and no sign of her personal affects.

"Somebody here knows where she's at, what has happened to her. Somebody needs to be a human being and let us know where she's at. Our family deserves the closure. We deserve the respect," said Woodward's niece, Starla Grey.

If you have any information contact Alton police at (618) 463-3505.
