LONDON - Not surprisingly, 17-year-old swimmer Missy Franklin is a fan of Carly Rae Jepsen's song "Call Me Maybe?"

It's fun, it's catchy and it's spawned dozens and dozens of YouTube videos of people lip-syncing and dancing along to the song.

Franklin and a few of her female Olympic teammates decided they wanted to create a USA Swimming version.

"Four of the ladies were like, 'We're going to make this video, we're going to make it viral, we're going to put it out there. We want all of you guys in it,' " male swimmer Cullen Jones told USA TODAY Sports Friday morning.

And they are all in it.

Michael Phelps is in the opening scene on an airplane. Ryan Lochte blows a kiss to the camera.
Swimming's power couple -- freestyler Ricky Berens and breaststroker Rebecca Soni -- re-enact the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez almost-kiss from the song's unofficial music video. There's even underwater dancing.

Franklin stars in most of the scenes, looking and acting very much like a teenage girl should. "She was a big part of the video-making," Jones said, laughing.

In the video's first 15 hours, it racked up more than 200,000 views. Viral? Check.

"We saw it for the first time last night and we all cracked up laughing," Jones said. "They did a really great job. I'm for sure happy to be a part of it."
