St. Louis (KSDK) -- A busy Metrolink station that has been closed for 18 months in midtown St. Louis reopened Monday.

The Grand Boulevard Metrolink Station has been closed since March 2011 while the Grand Bridge was torn down and rebuilt.

The road reopened last month.

The newly renovated Grand Metrolink Station boasts improved lighting, a new ticket area, a 58-space parking lot and artwork.

The Grand Metrolink station is a major connection point for the MetroBus. The #70 Grand, #58X Twin Oaks Express, and the #410 Eureka Express bus routes return to the Grand Bridge and connect with MetroLink at the Grand Station.

Those bus routes were rerouted while the bridge was being rebuilt.
