St. Louis (KSDK) -- There is only one book for every 300 children who live in poverty in St. Louis. This month, the nation's largest literacy non-profit is setting out to change that.

Reading is Fundamental (RIF) joined forces with St. Louis Public Schools to boost children's literacy and raise money for new books through the BUDDIG BE A READER VIRTUAL BOOK DRIVE. This is the second consecutive year Buddig will donate a minimum of $100,000 to RIF.

You can help by making a donation through the BE A READER VIRTUAL BOOK DRIVE. Every $10 in donations means four books for children. In addition, for everyone who "likes" Reading is Fundamental'sFACEBOOK PAGE through the month of August, Buddig will donate $2.50 up to $5,000 to support lcoal RIF literacy programs.
