Vienna, MO (KSDK) - Two people were arrested early Tuesday after an overnight raid on what officials say is a known drug house in rural Maries County.

Sheriff Chris Heitman told NewsChannel 5 it's the third time in about five weeks they have raided the home in the 10,000 block of County Road 320 near Belle, Missouri.

Sheriff's deputies and detectives with the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group executed a warrant just after midnight and discovered methamphetamine, and various pieces of what authorities say is drug paraphernalia inside the home where they arrested David Adair, 38, and Ashley Buchmiller, 22, both of Belle.

Late Tuesday; prosecutors charged Adair with distribution of controlled drugs, a felony. He's jailed on a $100,000 bond. Buchmiller was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, however she was released from custody with a summons to appear in court.

Sheriff Heitman says Adair was already out on bond for various drug crimes as well as being on probation for previous drug violations.

Heitman tells NewsChannel 5, "Adair is a 12 time convicted felon who I don't feel should be walking the streets."

This morning marked the third time deputies have made arrests at the home in the past month.

"I feel the residence is becoming a public nuisance, and I'm hoping to have it declared as such." according to Heitman.

More details in the investigation are anticipated later today.
