O'Fallon, MO (KSDK) - The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged a 20-year-old O'Fallon man for allegedly robbing a person at an area convenience store.

According to Col. Roy Joachimstaler, Chief of Police for the O'Fallon Police Department, police officers responded to a Circle K in the 2000 block of Highway K in the early morning hours of August 5 in reference to a robbery.

The suspect walked into the store, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money from the victim. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. The victim was not harmed.

Joachimstaler said investigators were able to successfully identify and arrest a suspect: Joshua Gollaher.

Gollaher was charged August 29 with first-degree robbery. He remains jailed on $75,000 bond.
