Cahokia, Ill (KSDK) -- Cahokia School District students had their first day of classes Thursday.

Teachers have been getting ready since Tuesday.

The start of school was pushed back 15 days to allow time for the district to resolve a labor dispute with its teachers.

An agreement was finally reached last week, bringing an end to concerns over a work stoppage.
