Clayton, MO (KSDK) - Clayton police have confirmed a woman whoclaimed she was assaulted by a man dressed as a police officer was lying.

On Wednesday a woman said she was pulled over off South Hanley Road by a man driving a dark blue Crown Victoria with flashing lights on the dashboard and a spotlight on the side.

The woman claimed the man threw her to the ground but that she then hit him in the groin with her head.

She said the hit stunned him and she was able to get back in her car and drive off.

Clayton police say they will now present the case to the prosecuting attorney's office.

Her name will not be released unless charges are filed.
