Hennepin County, MN (KSDK) - A man being sought for a double-murder in Ferguson is in custody.

Darnell Vaughn turned himself in Friday in Minnesota.

Last week, Vaughn was charged with two counts of first-degree murder for the shooting deaths of 29-year-old Tasheera Johnson and 30-year-old Claudia Williams. He was also charged with two counts of armed criminal action.

According to Det. Mark Leone, a spokesman for the Ferguson Police Department, Vaughn called 911 early Friday morning and surrendered to police at a Minneapolis-area hotel. He's being held at Hennepin County Jail in Minnesota, pending extradition to Missouri.

Darnell Vaughn's relationship to the victims is unclear.

Vaughn's mother, Lois Adams; his father, Darwin Vaughn; and his friend, DeAndre Galmore, were each charged with hindering prosecution. Bond is set at $100,000 for each.

Vaughn's mother and father were arrested Thursday, August 30 in St. Louis. Galmore was arrested the same day in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
