St. Peters, Mo (KSDK) -- A man who helped a girl throw a Frisbee did not intend to harm her and police said he will not be charged with a crime.

Police searched for the man after two girls walking in the Tanglewood subdivision around 6:45 p.m. Sunday told police a man took a Frisbee out of the trunk of his parked vehicle and threw it at them.

One of the girls said she didn't know how to throw a Frisbee, and the man said he would show her how to throw it. He then stood behind the girl and put his hands on her waist. The girl felt uncomfortable and ran from the scene with her friend.

Police said they found out he has no criminal history and he is not a sex offender. They said he has worked as an athletic coach for children's sports teams and he did not realize how his actions would alarm the young girls.
