SEMO student injured in accident dies
A Southeast Missouri State soccer player died Thursday as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.
St. Louis (KSDK) - A Southeast Missouri State soccer player died Thursday as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.
Meghan Herndonwas driving her scooter to work September 9 when she collided with a pickup truck. She was taken to a hospital in Cape Girardeau and then flown to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
A 19-year-old man was cited for the collision.
Herndon is from Fenton and graduated from Rockwood Summit High School in 2008.
Although Herndon died, others may live because of her. Her liver and two kidneys were donated.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
