St. Louis (KSDK) - Busch Stadium was packed Monday afternoon, but getting a ticket to Game 2 proved to be easier and cheaper for most fans than it was Sunday.

Experts say that because the St. Louis Cardinals suffered a huge loss for the first games of the series, those selling tickets on stubhub.com dropped their prices below face value and the MLB too allowed the Cards to drop standing room only prices by $5 to $20 in an effort to fill the stadium.

"Probably what's going on is they lost the first game there's a little bit less interest at this point as a result of that," explained Andrew Zimbalist, who is a sports economics professor at Smith College in Massachusetts. "Maybe some fans are thinking that even if they were to win the NLDS against the Nationals, they wouldn't go all the way."
