O'Fallon, MO (KSDK) - A Lake St. Louis woman has been charged for three residential burglaries in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Jaqueline Anderson, 45, has been charged with three counts of first-degree burglary, three counts of theft/stealing, and one count of theft/stealing of any credit card or letter of credit.

O'Fallon police say all three burglaries happened when garage doors were open during the daytime and the residents of the home were doing yard work.

The first burglary happened September 22 in the 700 block of Hawk Run Drive. Police say Anderson entered an open garage and took a purse from the victim's car.

The next burglary happened two days later in the 700 block of Falcon hill. A bank check and $100 in cash were taken from inside the home. Police say the victim entered the home and saw Anderson inside.

Police say when the victim confronted Anderson she said she was looking for her child and left the home.

The next burglary happened on October 13 in the 1000 block of Annabrook Park Drive when police say Anderson entered the home and stole prescription medication.

The homeowner tried to enter his home but found the door into his home from the garage was locked. He went to the front door, and as he was opening the door he felt the knob turn from the inside. Police say when he opened the door he confronted Anderson, who was holding pill bottles.

The victim detained Anderson until police officers arrived.

Anderson is held on a $30,000 bond.
