St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The St. Louis metro area is home to several decorated athletes: pro soccer players, hockey players, football players and track stars.
Paralympian Kerri Morgan is the most recent local athlete to achieve glory.
Kerri Morgan, who placed fifth in the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, won two bronze medals in the 2012 Pararlympic Games in London in the 100 and 200 meter events.
Morgan, an instructor at the Washington University Occupational Therapy Department, was honored by colleagues Tuesday at a reception.
