St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The Warner's Warm-up Coat Drive is calling on the bi-state community to donate new and used coats for impoverished individuals this winter.
The 12th annual coat drive, founded by former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner, will be held Thursday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 14 with donation boxes stationed at over 300 locations.
Coats will be distributed to schools, homeless shelters, and other service groups by Operation Food Search.
More than 150,000 coats have been distributed through the charity, according to Kurt Warner.
Monetary donations are also encouraged via the First Things First website www.kurtwarner.org. A $20 donation will buy a new Columbia coat for a child in need.
