New York (CNN) - New York will take a step back toward normalcy Thursday, as LaGuardia Airport partially reopens.

Despite having suffered major flooding from Sandy, both runways at the airport will be open for business.

LaGuardia is the New York metropolitan area's main hub for domestic flights.

Newark and JFK Airports started flying again on Wednesday.
