Maryland Heights, MO (KSDK) - Police are looking for information on a woman who robbed a U.S. Bank branch inside a Schnuck's grocery store earlier this week.
According to authorities, the robbery occurred Monday, November 5 at 1 p.m. at the U.S. Bank in the 2000 block of Dorsett Village in Maryland Heights.
The robber approached the counter and presented a teller with a demand note. The suspect implied she had a weapon but did not show one. The woman left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured.
Police described the suspect as an African-American woman in her early 40s, standing 5'5" and weighing approximately 150 pounds. She was wearing a plaid cadet-style cap, a black coat, black purse and jeans. The woman has a crooked front tooth on her lower jaw.
Anyone with information on the suspect's identity and whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS. Tipsters could be eligible for a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
Meanwhile, U.S. Bank is offering $10,000 for information leading to an arrest regarding any robbery at any of their bank branches.
