Chesterfield, Mo(KSDK) -- Circle of Concern volunteers filled baskets for 750 Thanksgiving dinners that will be handed out to needy families Saturday.

The baskets were assembled Thursday at St. Johns' United Church of Christ in Chesterfield.

Each basket contains a frozen turkey or ham, stuffing, canned pumpkin, potatoes, yams, chicken broth, canned fruit, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, gravy, jello, canned vegetables, a boxed desert mix and blanket.

Circle of Concern feeds the hungry and provides long-term and emergency assistance to low-income families in western St. Louis County.
