- The Wentzville School District Board of Education has named Phil Ragusky principal of its new high school when the building opens next school year.
The district school board unanimously voted to name the new school Liberty High School, based on suggestions by students, parents and staff members. The school's colors will be red, white and blue, and the board has chosen the Eagle as the mascot.
Ragusky received his Bachelor's Degree in education, his Master's and Specialist degrees from UMSL, and will soon earn his Doctorate in education. At present, Ragusky is principal at Frontier Middle School, a position he's held since 2005.
The school, located at 2275 Sommers Road in Wentzville, will open for a freshman class in August 2013. Construction on the 227,000-square-foot campus is on schedul
