St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged a 46-year-old man for his a role in a drive-by robbery.

Rodney Rankins was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of attempted robbery, said David Marzullo, spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.

According to Marzullo, the robbery took place Friday, November 24 around 10 p.m. The victims, a 38-year-old woman and two 18-year-old boys, told authorities they were walking westbound on Linden when the suspects drove passed in a 2000 Hyundai Accent. The suspects stopped the car and Rankin allegedly got out the vehicle and robbed the trio at gunpoint.

Officers later spotted the vehicle near Taylor and St. Ferdinand, Marzullo said. Police stopped the vehicle and found evidence of the robbery.

The circuit attorney's office has not yet field charges for the second suspect, a 34-year-old man.
