ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Dozens of local kids don't have to wait for Santa Claus to fill their wish lists this Christmas.

Fifty-five kids from Salvation Army programs went on shopping sprees at Target Tuesday.

Target provided $100 gift cards to all of the kids, and they filled up their carts with toys, clothes and other items they needed.

A few even got the chance to shop with St. Louis Rams player Rodney McLeod at the Brentwood store.

"It's just a great experience seeing them smile and get what they want. That's what it's all about," said McLeod.
