St. Louis (KSDK) -- St. Louis police will hold the first of three safety seminars Wednesday aimed at keeping pizza delivery drivers safe on the job.
The seminars were prompted by three attacks on delivery drivers on the same street in about a week.
St. Louis police will talk about extra safety measures drivers can take.
The first meeting is at South Patrol at 3157 Sublette Avenue at 4:30 p.m. December 12. The second meeting will be at Central Patrol at 919 North Jefferson Road at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The last meeting will be at North Patrol at 4014 Union Road at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
On December 1, in the 7100 block of Virginia, police said a Cecil Whitaker's Pizza driver was beaten unconscious. Five days later, a Pizza Milano driver was beaten with a brick at the same address.
Police said a third driver was robbed at knife-point in the 4200 block of Virginia on December 8.
Police arrested two people following the most recent attack, but do not believe those same men are responsible for the earlier attacks.
