MONROE COUNTY, Ill. (KSDK) - Authorities are trying to find the rightful owners for hundreds of stolen items.

A semi-automatic firearm, an ATV, and a pick-up truck are among property recovered at a Monroe County campsite.

Authorities say they've charged a Waterloo man with theft. He is suspected of stealing around 700 items.

Deputies tracked down the property after arresting the man for trespassing, and investigators say it was a GPS that may have also been stolen that helped them find the campsite.

If you think you may have had property stolen by this man, contact the Monroe County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies have pictures of the items that they're using to try and help find the rightful owners.
