EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KSDK) -- Prosecutors have announced charges in connection with the robbery and kidnapping of a UPS driver in the metro east.
Anthony T. Moore, 20, is being held on hijacking, armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping charges. His bond is $1 million dollars.
The UPS driver was making deliveries last Monday in East St. Louis when a masked gunman forced him to drive to Washington Park. A van followed behind. The man and an accomplice stole several packages. The driver wasn't hurt.
Moore and Victoria Walker are also charged with attempted first degree murder. Prosecutors say Moore shot a 15-year-old girl who knew about the robbery in the back of the head and left her for dead in Cahokia. She survived.
