ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Doctors say Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is doing very well after four days of treatment for a blood clot that formed in the space between her skull and brain.

The clot formed in a vein on the surface of the brain. That vein carries blood to the heart and lungs. If the clot grew larger, it could have caused a stroke.

We wanted to learn more about these blood clots, so Dr. Saleem Abdulrauf, Chairman of Neurosurgery at Saint Louis University Hospital stopped by First @ 4 to talk about them.
