CASEYVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - The St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office charged a Caseyville man for allegedly having child pornography on his computer.

According to Detective David Martin, spokesman for the Shiloh Police Department, police were initially called to a home in the 3700 block of Green Mount Crossing Drive on October 13, 2012 after child pornography was discovered on a computer.

Following a lengthy investigation, Shiloh police presented the state's attorney with its findings on December 31, 2012.

Thomas Siefert was charged child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Siefert remains in custody at St. Clair County Jail on $250,000 bond.
