ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) - A handful of school children had to be checked out by emergency responders after the bus they were riding in was struck by a rock.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Dryden and Anderson avenues in north St. Louis City.

A rock shattered one of the windows, causing glass shards to land on students. The fire department and medics were contacted after children complained of glass in their eyes.

It has not been established if the rock was thrown.
