ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) - When Lady Gaga brings her Born This way Tour to St. Louis on February 2, some of her fans may head to a special tour bus: the Born Brave bus. That's where the pop star will provide free access to professional counselors about depression, bullying, and school issues.

Local psychotherapist Carl Wilson has concerns.

Wilson says if Lady Gaga's efforts lessen the stigma of seeking mental health treatment, it's potentially a good thing. But he wonders about the qualifications of Lady Gaga's health professionals. And he's concerned about the follow up for someone who's troubled enough to need additional counseling from a local therapist.

Wilson hopes Lady Gaga's efforts are sincere and it's not a publicity stunt.

"Anybody shedding light and making the opportunities available for people to get help, I'm all for that," Wilson said.
