St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - St. Louis Police are hoping a surveillance video might help identify the man who smashed through a glass door of a south city sandwich shop overnight, and took the cash register from the business.

Police responded to the burglary call at the Subway store in the 4600 block of Chippewa around 2:20 a.m. Friday, finding the front door and window smashed.

After looking through the crime scene, police noted the register was missing from the counter.

The videotape shows the crime taking place, and the suspect fleeing with the cash register through the same smashed doorway.
