ST. LOUIS (KSDK SPORTS) - Nashville hungers for a win tonight after a Monday night loss against St. Louis.

If the Blues win tonight, it will mark the first time since 2008-09 that they beat Nashville in the first two games of the season. St. Louis is on a three game winning streak against the Predators finishing Monday night's game 4-3 in a shootout.

Vladimir Tarasenko brought new value to the number 91 that night, becoming the seventh player in franchise history to record at least three points in a matchup against the Predators. He is also one of two rookies to have at least five points this early in the season (one of 14 player's altogether.)

Defensemen Kevin Shattenkirk and Alex Pietrangelo rank number one and two in the NHL thus far, and Andy McDonald joins the two of them on a three-game scoring streak.

Tonight's game will undoubtedly be an exciting matchup. However, if the Blue's talent is not enough to attract fans, everyone in attendance will receive free Thundersticks as well.

The Blues head south to play the Dallas Stars this Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7PM.
