Fat Tuesday means food, beads and booze in St. Louis. The Lumiere Place Light Up the Night Fat Tuesday Parade steps off on Washington Ave. beginning at 7pm. The 11th annual parade will start at Washington/Broadway and march down to 14th Street.

This is a day that centers around food and one of the most delicious traditions, King Cake. Schnucks will sell around 6,000 cakes over the 10 day period they have the Mardi Gras treat in stores. Once Fat Tuesday has come and gone King Cakes won't be back until next year.
