ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) -The Hazelwood School District will reveal a first look at new safety measures this week.
School leaders have been working with police to beef up security since the tragic mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December.
Parents and students in the district will have a change to see what officials have come up with and weigh in at three public meetings.
The first meeting will be held Wednesday, February 20 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Hazelwood Central High School.
If you can't make it to Wednesday's meeting, the district will hold two more over the next two weeks.
