ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - An updated look at plans to overhaul the Gateway Arch grounds will be revealed Thursday.
The City Arch River Project includes covering the underground section of Interstate 70, and extending the Arch grounds across Memorial Drive.
It's part of a massive project to better connect the landmark to downtown St. Louis, and increase tourist traffic.
Organizers hope to get the project off the ground soon, and are targeting 2015 for completion.
The new annual report and latest plans for the project will be released Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Ferrara Theatre at America's Center.
