COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - A vigil will be held Monday afternoon for a man killed in a hit and run.

Anthony Connors, 22, was struck on his way home from work last Sunday.

The vigil is part remembrance, part tribute, and part public reminder that investigators need help looking for whoever did this.

Connors was dropped off about a half-mile from his home after work last Sunday around 2:30 a.m.

His roommates called police when Connors didn't show up. Hours later a jogger discovered his body in a nearby ditch on Route 157.

Collinsville police do not have any suspects, but say they are looking for a Ford SUV or pickup truck from the early 2000s.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed, and that should reveal more about Connors' death.

The vigil is at 1 p.m. near the scene, next to Burger King on Route 157.
